Megan Hudson’s journey in veterinary care is a heartwarming tale rooted in her deep love for animals. Inspired by her mother’s compassion, Megan discovered her true calling as a Veterinary Technician in high school, and she hasn’t looked back since.
Hailing from Buffalo, New York, she embarked on her educational journey at Medaille College, where she earned her Associate’s degree in veterinary technology and later became a Licensed Veterinary Technician. Megan’s dedication led her to earn a Bachelor’s degree in biology. And her adventurous spirit led her to Texas in 2017, where she quickly became an integral part of the Mission Veterinary Hospital team.
With a focus on critical care, anesthesia, and surgical work, she thrives in her role, finding immense satisfaction in helping sick patients regain their appetites. Beyond her work, Megan and her husband, Justin, embrace their love for the outdoors, exploring hiking and camping while savoring local cuisine.
Megan’s story is a testament to her commitment to animal welfare, and her home in Texas is filled with love from their three feline companions, Tina, Phyllis, and Sam, and their three dogs, Gene, Lucy, and Franny. Not to forget, the daily chorus of their backyard flock of urban chickens celebrating the arrival of a fresh egg adds to the delightful symphony of their home. Megan’s compassion and dedication make her an invaluable member of the Mission Veterinary Hospital family.
