Daisy is a south Texas native and decided it was time to come back home after about 10 years. She attended Texas A&M University-College Station where she received her Bachelor’s degrees in Animal Science and Wildlife and Fisheries. After taking a year off from school she decided to earn her Master’s degree in Animal Science at Texas A&M University-Kingsville. Then she moved to TN after being accepted to the Lincoln Memorial University College of Veterinary Medicine. Now she’s back home with family and friends enjoying her dream job.
Dr. Treviño knew veterinary medicine was the only career path for her. She started volunteering at MVH in high school and returned during her time in veterinary school for a summer job. During her clinical year she decided to do an externship with MVH, which then solidified her desire to become a member of the amazing MVH family. She joined the MVH family in July 2021.
During her days off she enjoys coffee dates with her husband and spending time with their 3 pets (12-year old golden retriever, 10-year old Husky and 6-year old cat). Other hobbies she enjoys is traveling to new cities and spending time in nature with her little family.
