Dr. Garza always knew that becoming a veterinarian was a calling over her life. She is a Mission local who grew up bringing her family pets to Mission Veterinary Hospital and spent many hours here as a pre-vet student. She is excited to be back in her home town serving her community!
Dr. Garza completed her Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences with a minor in Public Health from Texas A&M University. She took a year off and worked at Mission Veterinary Hospital, gathering valuable clinical experience. She then returned to College Station and completed her veterinary training at Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine & Biomedical Sciences. Her special interests are soft tissue surgery, internal medicine, feline medicine, and preventative care. She will be seeing both small and large animal patients!
Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Garza enjoys reading, journaling, crafting, going on walks, traveling, and hanging out with her two cats, Heidi and Poppy.
